Privacy and cookie settings

Optional tracking is off until you choose to accept it. Rejecting it will not stop you using river readings, forecasts, maps or My Rivers.

We remember your choice in this browser for 180 days, then ask again. Your choice applies to this website, not the separate River Updates service.

Essential storage

We remember this privacy choice and the saved rivers, checkpoints or interest preferences you ask us to keep. Security storage protects owner sign-in. Optional tracking controls do not clear those choices.

Choose optional measurement

You can withdraw permission by unticking a choice and saving, or reject all optional tracking below. This stops further measurement and removes our optional usage markers when this website next runs in your browser. It cannot recall information already sent.

Usage analytics records page and feature counts. RiverLevels does not send account identifiers or attach an account profile. If your browser prevents the privacy cleanup, usage analytics stays off.

Without JavaScript, these forms still save your choice. Previously stored local usage markers are removed on your next visit with JavaScript enabled, or you can remove them using your browser's site-data controls.

Read the privacy notice, storage details and retention periods.
